Most of the older locomotives and a select few newer excursion locomotives will start with the same running number every time it is placed on the track. You have the option of manually changing the running number*. This means the game will automatically assign a running number within the designated number range to the locomotive and tender. Most of K&L’s locomotives have what is called: “Auto Running Numbers”.
